A new mobile Penn State id+ card is anticipated to launch in January 2023, allowing students to use their mobile devices to conveniently, safely and securely access campus housing facilities, purchase meals, and more. 

Penn State students, faculty and staff with older versions of the id+ card are being asked to submit new photos ahead of re-carding events that will be held University-wide during the spring 2023 semester. There are multiple ways to submit a photo, and photos will be accepted from Nov. 7 through Nov. 23.

Penn State Altoona will hold several virtual events as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week from Nov. 14-18. Global Entrepreneurship Week is the annual celebration of Penn State's year-round commitment to innovation.

Penn State Altoona will host Senior Salute Day on Wednesday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Penn State Bookstore on campus.

Come get spooky with some cute therapy pups from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20, in the Laurel Pavilion at Penn State Altoona.   

From mid-September through the end of October, Penn State units at campuses across the commonwealth will be holding events in honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month. The unifying theme for this year’s observances is “Nuestra Música (Our Music): Identity, Culture and Resistance."

Penn State Altoona will welcome Thadeus Graham to campus from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 21, in Room 101 of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts.

Penn State Altoona will host an Involvement and Majors Fair from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 1, outside the Slep Student Center.
